STArS (The Soulstice Theatre Arts School) began in the summer of 2006 with 8 students. Since its inception, it has grown immensely. In 2011, we worked with 25 students preparing them for our summer show, Seussical.
STArS Programs
At its center, the program exists to teach theatre arts to young students from 2nd through 8th grades. We offer several different programs:
- Week-long summer camps that include acting, singing, and dancing
- After-school workshops, weekly for one month, that teach basic acting skills
- Performance experiences in which the students have an adult mentor
- Student performances in which the students perform in every role
