Char is the President/Artistic Director of Soulstice Theatre Company. Her career spans 20 years of teaching in theatre. Char was the drama teacher/director at Greendale High School for over 15 years. She is now retired from education, but STArS keeps the teacher in her alive! She is thrilled to make Soulstice her full time focus.
Maria Jensen met Char Manny during her career at Greendale and has been working with Char ever since. Maria is a teacher for STArS, the educational outreach for Soulstice. She coordinates theatre workshops for schools and works alongside Char to continue to develop the STArS Summer Theatre Academy into a wonderful experience for children and young adults.
Mark has been connected to Char's work since their days as high school directors. Trained briefly at Chrysalis Theatre in Balham, England, Mark has been involved for over 20 years with high school, community, non-equity paid productions, and Seat of Our Pants Reader's Theatre, which is now linked with Soulstice, Ltd. He wants to be a part of realizing the Soulstice dream: a thriving theatre dedicated to meaningful productions, supporting talented people and worthy causes related to dramatic themes.
